นายแพทย์ยศพล เตียวจิตต์เจริญ แพทย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านต่อมไร้ท่อและหัวหน้าฝ่ายวิจัย ศูนย์เบาหวาน ไทรอยด์ และต่อมไร้ท่อเทพธารินทร์ รพ.วิมุต-เทพธารินทร์ ได้รับเชิญจากคณะเทคนิคการแพทย์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล บรรยายออนไลน์ในหัวข้อ "การแพทย์แม่นยำสำหรับโรคไม่ติดต่อเรื้อรัง" แก่นักศึกษาเทคนิคการแพทย์ ชั้นปีที่ 3 จำนวน 95 คน ในรูปแบบออนไลน์ เมื่อวันที่ 26 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569
หัวข้อนี้เป็นวิชาใหม่ที่จัดขึ้นเป็นปีที่ 2 เพื่อให้ทันต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสังคมและโรคต่าง ๆ ที่เกิดขึ้น รวมทั้งการวิจัยทางการแพทย์ในด้านพันธุศาสตร์โมเลกุล การแพทย์แม่นยำถือเป็นศิลปะแห่งการแพทย์ที่มุ่งเน้นให้สามารถประเมินสภาวะสุขภาพและโรคที่เป็นลักษณะเฉพาะบุคคลซึ่งเป็นองค์ประกอบโดยรวม เช่น จีโนมิกส์, ทรานสคริปโทมิกส์, โปรตีโอมิกส์, เมตาโบโลมิกส์ เป็นต้น
เทคโนโลยีนี้มีประโยชน์ในการวินิจฉัยโรคทางพันธุกรรมที่หายาก การคาดการณ์และจัดประเภทมะเร็ง คาดการณ์การตอบสนองต่อยา รวมถึงการวินิจฉัยโรคติดเชื้อต่างๆ ซึ่งการวินิจฉัยที่แม่นยำและเชื่อถือได้เป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญทางการแพทย์ และการนำเทคโนโลยีใด ๆ มาใช้ต้องมั่นใจว่าเป็นประโยชน์ในการดูแลผู้ป่วยในทางคลินิก

It's the second years subject had been established a new subject in this year for up-to-date medical investigations in the era of molecular genetics. Precision medicine is considered as the art of medicine for creating personalized assessments of health and diseases that are derived from omics (i.e., genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic) profile.
The technology has been useful for diagnosis of rare genetic diseases, predicting and classifying cancers, predicting drug responses as well as diagnosis of infectious diseases. But accurate and reliable diagnostic tests are a foundation of medicine which have to be emphasize for any technology in routine clinical settings.
