On March 24, 2008, Nutrition Association of Thailand under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in collaboration with the Allied Health Sciences Department of Chulalongkorn University and Theptarin Hospital hosted a lecture on "The Omega-6/Omega-3 Fatty Acid Ratio, Genetic Variation and Cardiovascular Disease" by Artemis P. Simopoulos, M.D.  The event was sponsored by Amway, Ltd. and received over 300 attendees.
